Cabo Mini Kit Intake · $9 founding request

Tell me the Cabo trip. I’ll turn it into a clean Cabo mini-kit.

This is the highest-intent path for Los Cabos planners: send dates, stay zone (SJD, Corridor, Cabo San Lucas, or East Cape), budget, and the decisions that are still messy. The first requested kits get built before another generic guide.

What the founding Cabo mini-kit is.

A short, practical planning packet for one real Los Cabos trip — not a 90-page guide. It is built around your dates, your stay-zone tradeoffs, and the decisions that matter before you book.

Direct checkout is still pending; this request page captures qualified demand now and lets the first paid kits be built from real Cabo trips.

Deliverable

The $9 Cabo version solves the decisions travelers actually stall on.

1-page plan

A compact trip spine by day: arrival, book-first anchor, food/night lane, backup plan, and what to skip.

Stay-zone call

San José del Cabo, Tourist Corridor, Cabo San Lucas, or East Cape — with the transfer-time / vibe / budget tradeoff that matters for your dates.

Book-first anchors

One SJD transfer + one water/whale anchor shortlist using disclosed affiliate links where helpful. No fake urgency, no timeshare traps.

Packing + friction notes

The tiny list that prevents Los Cabos-specific pain: reef-safe SPF, motion-sickness bands for boats, cash belt for the timeshare-booth walk, USB adapter, layering piece for evening breeze.

Season + backup day

A hurricane-season (Aug–Oct) or high-wind fallback so the trip still works if a water day gets moved. Whale-window (mid-Dec → mid-Apr) called out when relevant.

Decision map

A short “if this, do that” map so you can stop scrolling and book the next logical thing for your specific dates and party.

Real sample

Here is what a real Cabo mini-kit looks like.

Example: couple, 6 nights in late January, first-time Los Cabos, whale-watching-window trip, Tourist Corridor stay (Palmilla / Chileno Bay side), mid-to-premium budget, worried about SJD transfer + which day to spend on the water and how to avoid the timeshare booth ambush. The actual kit you request will be built around your dates and inputs — this is the shape.

Sample · not your actual kit
Cabo mini-kit · January 24–30 · couple · first-timer · Tourist Corridor
Prepared for: sample trip · Delivered as: one clean PDF + one plain-text email you can forward
1. Stay-zone call. Tourist Corridor (Palmilla / Chileno Bay area), 20–35 min from SJD, not Cabo San Lucas Marina and not East Cape. Reasoning: Cabo San Lucas has the marina, Squid Roe, and the party-boat scene — great if that is the point of the trip, wrong for a whale-window honeymoon or a first couples trip trying to relax. San José del Cabo is calmer but you’ll cab into everything and miss the swimmable-beach story. East Cape is genuinely beautiful but you’re 60–90 min from SJD and every meal is a decision — skip on a first trip. The Corridor gives you: SJD transfer under 35 min, actual swimmable beaches (Chileno Bay, Santa Maria Cove, Palmilla) which the Cabo San Lucas main beach does not have, a 20-minute Uber to CSL when you want the marina scene, and a 25-minute Uber back to San José del Cabo for the Thursday Art Walk. Do NOT split-stay on a 6-night trip — you’ll lose most of a day to the switch and Cabo hotels front-load their good stuff on nights 3–5.
2. 6-day spine.
Day 1 (arrival, Corridor): pre-booked private SJD transfer straight to the Corridor (25–35 min). Walk past every timeshare booth at SJD without stopping — they will offer you “free breakfast,” free rides, spa credits. Every one is a 90-minute presentation. Feet-in-sand hour, resort dinner on-property, early night. Do not schedule an activity — travel day.
Day 2 (Chileno Bay + slow day): short cab or resort shuttle to Chileno Bay (10–15 min), one of the two swimmable public beaches in the Corridor (Santa Maria is the other; Chileno has better shade). Snorkel gear rents on the beach; morning is glass, afternoon gets wind. Lunch back at the resort, pool afternoon, sunset. Cheap, low-friction day that fixes jet-lag and gives you the first “we’re here” memory before the anchor day.
Day 3 (anchor day — private whale-watch + sunset sail combo): private 2.5-hour whale-watch charter, 9 AM out of Cabo San Lucas Marina (peak whale season is mid-Dec through mid-Apr; late January is the sweet spot). Private beats a shared cattle-boat by a wide margin — fewer people, closer stops, no PA system. Back to the marina by 12, lunch at The Office on the Beach or Sur Beach House, afternoon back at the resort, then a separate sunset sail (different boat, different vibe — catamaran, BYOB, 5 PM departure). Book both 3–5 weeks ahead — the good captains sell out in whale season.
Day 4 (recovery + dinner anchor): beach + pool day, book one proper dinner reservation in San José del Cabo (Flora Farms if the budget allows, or Acre for the tree-house vibe; both are 25 min from the Corridor and worth the drive). Uber both ways — do not drink and drive Highway 1. This is your “big dinner” night — lock the reservation 2+ weeks out.
Day 5 (optional adventure or slow day): two variants pre-selected — (a) Todos Santos day trip (75 min north, magic town, Hotel California lunch + galleries + Playa Los Cerritos surf watch), or (b) a proper slow day: Santa Maria Cove morning snorkel, long Corridor beach walk (stay above the tide line — the Cabo Pacific side has real rip currents and drownings happen), Thursday Art Walk in downtown San José del Cabo if your Day 5 falls on Thursday. Pick one before you leave home — don’t decide day-of.
Day 6 (departure): beach morning, quiet resort brunch, pre-booked driver to SJD (leave 3.5 hours before flight in high season — SJD security backs up hard in Jan/Feb and the international-side lines are slow). Do not schedule anything after 10 AM.
3. Book-first anchors (in order).
  1. Private SJD transfer in + SJD transfer out. Removes the two most stressful moments of the trip in one booking and, critically, gets you past the timeshare booth line without stopping — airport shuttle drivers walk you straight to the parking lot.
  2. Private whale-watch charter for Day 3 — the once-a-year experience that is the reason to go in January and the biggest “wrong-boat” regret in Cabo reviews.
  3. One “big dinner” reservation for Day 4 (Flora Farms, Acre, or equivalent). San José del Cabo dinner spots book out 3–6 weeks ahead in peak season.
Each anchor comes with a disclosed affiliate link where I actually use one. Skippable — you can book direct if you prefer.
4. Season + weather backup. A one-paragraph fallback: late Jan is peak dry-and-calm-and-whale, but a Norte wind event can shut down small boats for 24–48 hours 2–4 times per season. If your Day 3 whale charter gets scrubbed, the kit pivots to a Chileno Bay morning snorkel + Cabo San Lucas Marina walk + Lover’s Beach water-taxi from Medano (protected side, still runs in a Norte) + afternoon at the resort — pre-selected, not scrambled. If the Todos Santos day gets weathered out (rare in Jan), the pivot is a Flora Farms lunch + art-walk-adjacent shopping in San José del Cabo. Hurricane season (Aug–Oct) doesn’t apply here — called out for anyone considering shoulder dates instead.
5. Packing + friction notes (Cabo-specific). Reef-safe SPF only — mandated at some snorkel sites. Motion-sickness bands or Bonine for the whale-watch day (even calm days have swell in Jan). Small USD cash for tips and Ubers (USD is accepted everywhere in the tourist zones; MXN is fine but not required — do NOT change money at SJD). A light layering piece for evening — the Corridor gets down to mid-50s°F in Jan after sunset and every restaurant patio is open-air. Reusable water bottle — tap is not drinkable but every resort has filtered stations. The timeshare rule: at SJD, on the way to your resort transfer, you will be approached by “concierges” wearing polos — they are timeshare salespeople. “No, gracias” and keep walking. Do not accept anything free. Same rule at the marina and any hotel lobby. Skip Squid Roe unless you are 22. Better and cheaper tacos are in San José del Cabo (Los Barriles Taco Stand, or the Mercado in centro).
6. Decision map. A tight “if this, do that” list — e.g. if a Norte wind forecast >18 knots is called for Day 3, pivot Day 3 to Chileno morning + Lover’s Beach water-taxi and move whale charter to Day 4 (call the operator by 5 PM the day before); if your SJD flight lands after 6 PM, cancel any Day 1 dinner reservation and eat resort — the drive plus check-in eats the evening; if the whale-watch trip books out for your preferred day, take the earlier day slot over a later shared boat every time; if the Flora Farms reservation slot is 9 PM, take it — the drive back is easier late; if you’re jet-lagged past Day 2, cancel the Day 3 anchor and slide it to Day 4 rather than push through; if anyone at SJD offers you a “free” anything, the answer is no. ~10 rules that keep you from re-planning mid-trip.
Delivered within 48 hours of your intake. If your trip is inside 7 days, mark that in the form and I’ll turn it faster. If any part of your kit doesn’t match your inputs, I rework it once at no charge.
How to request

Send four inputs. Keep it simple.

Dates + nights: exact dates if booked, or month/window if not. Cabo weather changes a lot Dec vs Aug — dates matter.

Stay zone: San José del Cabo (near airport), Tourist Corridor (in between), Cabo San Lucas (marina/nightlife), East Cape (remote), or not booked yet.

Budget + vibe: couples resort, group of friends, food-forward, adventure/water, low-key, family with kids, work-from-Cabo.

Top two problems: stay zone, SJD airport transfer, whale-watch timing, sunset sail, hurricane-season backup, timeshare booth avoidance, restaurants, packing, itinerary order.

If you need one anchor now

Book one thing that reduces chaos.

Transfer first (from SJD)

If you land at SJD and still do not know how you are getting to your zone, solve that before restaurants. The airport-to-Cabo-San-Lucas drive is 45–60 min and the timeshare-booth ambush is real if you say yes to a “free ride.”

Browse SJD transfer options

Whale or sunset anchor

If the trip needs one memorable water hour, pair it with the season: whale-watch mid-Dec through mid-Apr, sunset sail May and November for the calmest water, off-peak deals late April, late October, early November.

Common questions · Before you request

The honest answers travelers ask before filling the intake.

Real questions from real Cabo planners evaluating a $9 Cabo mini-kit. If yours isn’t here, email me directly and I’ll answer before you decide.

Is $9 really enough to solve real Cabo trip decisions?

Yes — because it is scoped narrow on purpose. You get one clean planning packet for one real Cabo trip: dates, zone, budget, and the two decisions you’re stuck on. Not a 90-page destination guide. Not luxury concierge. If you want a hand-held itinerary with every restaurant reservation booked for you, this is the wrong offer. If you want the four decisions that unblock the trip so you can book confidently, $9 is priced so the decision is basically free.

What do I actually get in the kit?

A one-trip planning packet delivered as one clean PDF plus one plain-text email you can forward: recommended stay zone with reasoning for your budget/vibe, a spine of decisions in order for your trip length, book-first anchor picks (transfer, one signature activity, one memorable dinner), season/weather backup plan for your dates, and the two problems you flagged answered directly. The on-page sample is the exact format — that’s what a real kit looks like, just built around your inputs instead of the example inputs.

How long until I get my kit?

Within 48 hours of your intake landing. Most requests turn around same-day if submitted before 6pm ET. You get one plain-text email you can forward to whoever’s traveling with you plus the PDF. If your dates are inside 7 days, flag “urgent” in the notes and I’ll prioritize.

Is Naia a real human travel advisor?

No — and I won’t pretend to be. Naia Cruz is an AI travel persona curating planning inspiration and bookable picks. The kit is AI-built research (booking sites, hotel policies, activity hours, transfer options, seasonal data) organized into decisions instead of a wall of links. That’s exactly why it’s $9 not $299 — you’re paying for the curation and format, not licensed travel-advisor advice. Verify every booking, price, and safety detail yourself before you pay.

What if the kit doesn’t match my trip?

I rework it once at no charge if any part doesn’t match your inputs. Email [email protected] with what missed and I’ll fix it. The offer only survives if requesters get a kit worth $9, so I have every reason to get it right on the first pass and rework if I miss.

Do you book flights, hotels, or activities for me?

No — the kit tells you exactly what to book and where, but you click and pay yourself. The book-first anchor picks include affiliate links to Viator/Amazon where I get a small commission at no extra cost to you (disclosed on every link). Everything else is your booking, your credit card, your call. Keeps the price at $9 and keeps you in control of your money.

My dates aren’t booked yet — can I still request?

Yes — that’s the ideal time to request actually. Send your month/window instead of exact dates and I’ll include season/weather guidance and zone recommendations that inform your booking. Requesting before you book saves you from picking the wrong week or the wrong zone. If you’re still choosing which anchors to prioritize, use the Cabo book-first shortlist first.

Do you have testimonials from past kits?

Not yet — and I won’t fake them. This is the founding-request Cabo kit — first paid kits being built from real Los Cabos trips right now. The first paid kits are being built from real traveler intakes right now. That’s why the price is $9 — founding requesters get the same care future $29 buyers will pay for, in exchange for honest feedback I can quote (with permission). The on-page sample is the exact format every kit ships in.

Still on the fence? The sample kit above is the exact format. If you like the shape, send your inputs. If you don’t, browse the other destination kits or drop me a question by email.
